From Yarn to Your Floor.
Every OasisRug starts in a room like this — designs piled on top of each other, colours clashing, ideas competing for space. What comes out the other side is something that belongs in yours.
Tufting — Where It Begins
We stretch the cloth across a wooden frame and get to work with the tufting gun. One thing we do differently: we tuft multiple designs onto a single cloth wherever we can. Less waste, more efficiency — most of the backing that would normally be thrown away gets used. It is a small thing, but it matters to us.
Backing — Built to Last
Once tufting is done, we coat the back with an eco-friendly adhesive — non-toxic, no harsh chemicals, but stronger than anything the cheap mass-produced mats use. This is the layer most budget rugs skip entirely. It is also the reason we can offer a 10-year guarantee. The backing is what makes a rug last. We do not cut corners on it.
Finishing — The Detail That Makes It
The last step is where the rug comes alive. We hand-shave the entire surface to sculpt the design into three dimensions — edges sharper, colours deeper, textures you can actually feel. No machine does this. It takes time. That is the point.
Every piece takes a minimum of 5 hours. The large ones up to 30. Made specifically for you, from scratch, every time.
